Hi, Beth. I do have her contact information, but she has moved on from the personal chef business to helping restaurants and food companies market their own businesses through social media. I guess she decided if she could do it for herself she could do it for other food companies! Her new company is One Smart Cookie Marketing: http://onesmartcookiemarketing.com/

You can find a personal chef in your area by googling "personal chef" to find the top industry groups, and from there you should be able to find one in your area with the specialty you need. Good luck!

Hi, Angela. I probably would have said the same thing a year ago, but I had the luxury of having Karen cook at my house several times to see that even in my tiny kitchen it can be done. We even hosted a cooking class at my house once!

That is a good tip to start with just making one recipe and freezing it in portion-sized containers, or just double the recipe you are making for dinner that night. Even doing that once a week will eventually build you a nice freezer full of good food so you won't be tempted to eat junk or eat out when you are busy or tired.

I love making crockpot recipes or chili or soup that we eat several times and sometimes even freeze some portions.

But I have to be honest- the idea of cooking 4 or 5 different recipes and a month's worth of food at once would definitely turn my kitchen into an episode of I Love Lucy. I can barely cook the type of dinner that has 3 or 4 items without creating chaos.

I'm sure it's a perfect idea for the right person. It sure would be nice to have frozen convenient foods that are actually healthy and don't use a bunch of packaging.
