If you think life is passing you by, it's time to catch up. The Good Life is closer than you think.

Video Post: My Top 3 Lessons on Clutter

Today is the first in a series of video chats on subjects ranging from clutter to bucket lists to eating more veggies. You know, all the things that make up the good life.

I’m trying to mix it up a little and provide more variety for you to get the information, and I’d also like to inject more personality in the process. It is harder to convey some things with the written word.

Can you do me a big favor? Let me know either by email or in the comments whether you like it or not and how I can make it more interesting for you.

Would you like these short videos every week/2 weeks/month/please-don’t-ever-do-this-again-it-was-painful?

I’m also curious to know what kind of subjects you would like covered, or what kinds of people I could interview that fit in with our blog’s theme of simplicity and living a life true to your dreams.

Thanks for watching and being a part of the Married with Luggage community!

Yes, I like this format! Very educational – I want to make a video too!

  2. Wife says:

Thanks, Karen. The video part is easy; the hard part is putting yourself out there. I’m getting better at sharing my private info, as long as it is to benefit someone else, but it still feels a little weird sometimes.

  3. Maria Ross says:

Excellent format, Betsy! What a great way to deliver your useful nuggets and insights, in a way that lets your personality and passion shine through. Great job!

  4. Excellent information, brilliant delivery, and you look gorgeous. I love this video and definitely look forward to seeing more. The idea that clutter can keep one’s home from being a true sanctuary is meaty food for thought. Thanks, Betsy!

    Betsy,
Brilliant, simplified delivery on clutter. I always heard how your home reflects your state of mind, then felt guilty about my cluttered home. I appreciate your recharacterization of a cluttered home of the outcome: no rest. It inspires me to keep the home a sanctuary! Thanks.

LOVE the video- it’s honest, personal, has good information, and you do look beautiful.
Brutal honesty- HATE the lead-in music. It’s sort of cheesy. I think you could use something more surprising and original.

Just my opinion. I would love to see the videos as often as you feel like making them. Maybe once or twice a month would be great- or whenever it seems appropriate to the topic.

Thanks so much for your feedback, everyone (both here and on Facebook). I’m going to take your points and incorporate them into the next video. I love hearing from you guys!
