If you think life is passing you by, it's time to catch up. The Good Life is closer than you think.

Introducing My Husband Warren

Today is a really exciting day – the first week of complete transparency! My husband Warren told his boss on Friday about our plans for the big trip, so everything is finally out in the open.Warren at Thrift Supervision

It has been tough making this major life transition without being able to share it with the people he sees every single day.

(You can read more about why he told his company 15 months in advance here.)

What does this mean for you?

You will now get a better overall picture of our goal-setting and achievement process with Warren’s input. He is the planner of relationship, and his insights on budgeting, overall vision, and working through the details will round out my posts on relationships, personal happiness and satisfaction.

It is our hope that you will find the blog even more enjoyable with his personality and talents added to the mix. And we’ll finally get to enjoy more of the great photographs he takes!

If you do have questions regarding budgeting, work transitions, or planning the details of a big life change, Warren is a great resource and would love to hear from you. You can contact him here.

Going forward you’ll see a mixture of posts between us during the week, and we’ll also be getting rid of the Husband/Wife nicknames and going with our real ones.

Who knows? I may even convince him to start video blogging with me!

Thank you all for your overwhelming support as we transition to this new life.

Wow, never seen Mr. Betsy without a beard – cool! So glad we get more of the "out and proud" Warren now…he really is a great writer and you two are a great team!

I’m looking forward to following your journey. I did quite a bit of traveling for many years, living the free life, but now dream and armchair travel at my desk. I follow a wonderful travel blog by Malena who is traveling around the world studying candy. http://www.malena-rtw.com/rtw/ . You have a lot of courage to make the jump to follow your dreams. I’m working hard towards a simpler life to be able to have more adventure and freedom, too. It’s hard to do. I’ll keep studying your website, and the other site links you have, and hopefully find my own path someday. Have a great time, and keep the blog well-posted on your adventures. My favorite quote is: "A journey begins with a single step."

Hi, Jeanne. Thanks for the blog suggestion. How fun would it be to travel around studying candy?! I’m sure we’ll eat our fair share, but my sweet tooth is not developed enough for that kind of commitment. :) I’m looking forward to having you participate in the discussions we have here on travel, living the life you want, and making the most of our time on Planet Earth. Thanks for stopping by!
