Today I’m coming to you from my office closet with a confession about a purchase that was unwise, inappropriate, and way too expensive. You’ve probably done the same thing, too.
The point is to start thinking of those types of purchases, why you made them, and how you can exercise a little self-control in the future. After all, what you are saving for is more important than any purchase you make now in a moment of weakness.

Fantastic video Betsy. I think this happens to so many of us at various times in our lives – thanks for asking the good questions to get us all thinking.
Keep it coming.
Reminds me of a pink leather pillow I bought once after a couple of glasses of wine!
Didn’t really go in my house – I think it might belong in the house of the woman who should be wearing your boots, whoever she may be!
Shopping after drinking wine is never a good idea! Thanks for the laugh, Rosa. I think your pillow and my boots DO belong to someone else.
Thanks for the video, useful and adorable. I can relate – my closet is full of very cute party dresses. It’s outta whack with how I actually live my life. I’m looking forward to exploring more of your website.
Hi, Just found your site from Miss Minimalist. Loved the music. Couldn’t read the video the first two times through because I was dancing and moving with the beat. Good cardiovascular workout right at my desk!!! Seriously, though, your story sounds intriguing. Can’t wait to read more of your journey….and come back for more of that music
