Oh my god. Did I just say the word “itinerary?” It sounds so…planned. And that’s not really the way I want this to go, at least not like people generally think of planning a trip.
Watch as Warren and I discuss the first stop on our trip and why we chose to begin in Ecuador.
What do you think we should see and do in Ecuador?

You guys should totally check out doing some volunteer work in Guatemala with As Green As It Gets. They help local coffee growers as well as other craftspeople (I think) find new methods of production as well as how to get their products to market. My friend Jen volunteered with them for about a month or so on a similar trip to what you’re doing and loved the experience. They also make amazing coffee, so if anyone is interested in getting some for home, you can buy it off their website at http://www.asgreenasitgets.org (I think!)
Great suggestion, Maria. I know lots of people who would work for premium coffee beans!
I’m still unclear how you decided on Ecuador. Is it your neighbor’s house? And it sounds like you might already have your plane tickets purchased since you know the exact time?
If you don’t have a plan in place for which locations you’re going to, how does that work when booking things in advance such as plane or train tickets?
