If you think life is passing you by, it's time to catch up. The Good Life is closer than you think.

Unautomate Your Finances

Damn, he’s done it. Adam Baker of Man vs. Debt has written the book I meant to write and never did. He’s gung-ho like that, never letting a good idea sit for too long. In fact, he’s included interviews with big names in personal finance and simplicity like JD Roth of Get Rich Slowly as well as a forward by Leo Babauta of Zen Habits.

If you want to find out how Adam and his family “unautomated” their finances to pay off significant debt and travel around the world, click here to visit ManVsDebt.

(Yes, this is an affiliate link.  I paid full price for the product, because I wouldn’t recommend you do it if I didn’t.  Plus he hasn’t yet realized that $17 is WAY underpriced for the amount of info and resources in this guide, which means you get a screaming deal.)

The Man vs. Debt Story

Adam and his wife Courtney hit the same wall we did a few years ago – is this it? Instead of thinking of all the reasons they couldn’t immediately live their happily ever after – a new baby, student loans, credit card debt – they put a plan in place to make it happen.

Fast forward to now, and they are currently traveling in Thailand after several months in New Zealand. In addition, they’ve paid off their credit card debt, have a manageable student loan debt, and have been completely transparent to their readers about their successes, setbacks, and lessons learned.

If you have an interest in gaining control of your money – and if you are reading this blog you probably do – then check out Adam’s Unautomate Your Finances guide. At the very least check out his blog for some great advice from someone walking the talk.
