Nurture the Spirit

This is about centering yourself to silence the fear and regret and start living a life of passion and purpose. It’s about being true to who you are at your core and what moves you.

The biggest obstacle in your path to Live the Good Life is you.
When you focus on what happened 5, 10 or 20 years ago you cannot appreciate the here and now, much less work toward a better future. (Often what you surround yourself with reminds you of who you were, not who you are or want to be. We advocate decluttering so strongly that we wrote a book about it.)
peace of mind | get over it | to forgiveNo matter what shitty, horrible things happened to you, you have to move on for your own peace of mind. Being mad at the person who hurt you, wasn’t there for you, tricked you, or abandoned you is not hurting them one bit, but it is killing you.

If you still have revenge in mind, remember that living well trumps them all.

Dwelling on a failed or missed opportunity will not bring it back, but it will certainly keep you from seeing new ones right in front of your face. Are you working so hard to get to a goal that you forget why you wanted to do it in the first place?

Likewise trying to squeeze yourself into a life that just doesn’t fit to make someone else happy is a recipe for unhappiness. Why wear the uncomfortable life of someone else when there is one that will fit you like a glove?

Don’t get your life off the rack when you can custom tailor it to your own measurements.

Get over yourself so you can be yourself.
