We’ve been unplugged for the last few days in Sequim, Washington with friends. This is part of our New Year’s Resolution list to visit the spectacular areas near us in Seattle before our Big Trip. This was a fun trip because we had the added bonus of celebrating our friend Pat’s 45th birthday.
We saw at least 5 bald eagles within the first 20 minutes of our arrival and dozens later, and since then we’ve seen an otter, geese, ducks, hummingbirds, cows, horses, and of course the beautiful landscape of Western Washington.
We’ll be back later this week with pictures from this little slice of paradise, and we hope you have had a great long weekend as well. Happy Travels!

Glad you had a chance to unwind for the weekend. Sequim is a beautiful spot-and I miss the Pacific Northwest!
sometimes we travel so far but we never take the time to experience our own background. glad to see that you are taking this chance n enjoying your surroundings
