Today’s the day! After watching a gorgeous sunset and the rise of the “supermoon” last night, we are saying goodbye to South America and heading to Europe as the only passengers on a Gap Adventures repositioning cruise.
We can’t decide if we will be pampered or put to work or somewhere in between, but we are ready for all possibilities in this adventure. (Warren thinks “work” will be actually be helping the captain steer the ship, even though he has no nautical experience. And knowing him, he’ll probably find a way to make that happen.)
We may not have internet access in port tonight, but we will have it during the cruise and keep you updated all the way across the ocean.
Since you are all so far away, we’ve hired a few people to give us a proper bon voyage…(note: boat is not to scale - ours is bigger!)
