When you get back to the States, put rafting through he Grand Canyon on you to-do list. It takes about a week to do, requires camping in the canyon, bathing in the 40 degree river, and roasting in 100 degree air temps, but it is still the single best trip we’ve ever done. I’m looking forward to getting a group of friends together for another go at some point in the future.
Happy travels,
Brian
Hey Brian,
This is a great idea and something that will be a perfect addition to our US road trip. We are thinking about heading to the US sometime the second have of 2012 and I am adding this to the list of things we need to do. We love to take recommendations from people we “know” and anytime I hear “single best trip we’ve done” it goes to the top of our list. Thank you for taking the time to share!
BTW, loved your post on becoming fearless. Very inspiring and fits perfectly with our 2012 goals.
