Show Notes
Episode 53 comes to you from chilly and beautiful Oslo, Norway. Today we’re talking about the power of questioning the norm. Prepare to be challenged.
In this episode we’re talking about changing our attitudes towards commonly accepted “truths” and dispelling the notion about what we “need” to be happy.

He publishes the Untitled Minimalism website and podcast, which gives practical, solid advice to enable starving college students, middle class paper pushers, retired millionaires, and everybody in-between to accomplish extraordinary changes in their lives. Sponsor
Today’s sponsor is Declutter Clinic, the online course that helps you clear out the junk so you can get on with your life. Shelley from Texas emailed us and said “I listed a ton of stuff on Craigslist and it FLEW out of the house. My hubby, my cats, and my dogs were terrified that they would next (which meant they behaved themselve very well!).” So we guess that decluttering is also a way to a happier marriage! Coming Up
On next week’s show we’ll be talking with an artist and a businessman who happen to be married. If you’re in a mixed relationship of right brain and left brain thinking (like we are), you’ll want to tune in.
Until next time, take the first step, and keep on moving!

I just joined the Dishwashing Association just kidding and I just find it handy when you have three people to clean up after and very dry skin from washing dishes especially in winter but, I do see the point it takes up space that you could use for storage, it uses a lot of water unless you have the new fangled energy star, plus the detergent you need to use along with the rinse agent.
HA, that is hysterical. We certainly had one back in Seattle as well. It’s all about making the conscious choices which are right for each of us. There is no right/wrong, merely what we each like.
Thanks for having me on the show!
Completely agree that it’s an individual decision. There *are* situations where dishwashers make sense, just like there are good and valid reasons to rent mini-storage units.
As Warren said, the key is in the thought process that considers the “why”, rather than a given person’s individual determination of the “how”.
