What Were You Thinking? You Bought a House in Spain? (Reader Questions)

Since our announcement last week about buying a house in Spain we have been overwhelmed with questions and comments. It seems you all are quite interested in what possessed us to do this, our visa situation, how we plan to avoid falling back into collection mode, and more. To address all of these, and more, we decided it was best to record a video while sitting outside in sunny, beautiful Spain. It was 26C (almost 80F) and not a cloud in the sky so it was a testament to what we love about this area.

One of the things we love most about living, traveling, and working together is taking on big projects together. Whether that be planning and saving to quit our jobs and travel the world, walking 30 days across Turkey, or writing books we love creating new memories together. This house is a big one that will have us renovating and working together as partners and we know it will enriches our lives as we move through the process.

In addition, we share an updating on the other big project that is consuming our time - our next book. We announce the title and the launch date as well as give you an overview of what it will cover. This is our most candid and biggest book project yet and we’re excited (and a little scared) as we write and share more of our lives.
Enjoy the update and we look forward to more of your questions and thoughts on the book, our new house, or anything you may like to know more about.

We’ll be sharing more of the details about the house project and status of the book via our weekly email. If you are not already signed up, click here to get the scoop each week.
